Who We Are
The Russett School and MSI Unit is located in Weaverham, Cheshire and caters for children aged 3 to 19 who have severe/profound and complex needs.
We are the Russett School P.T.A. a small group of people with big ambitions to deliver as much as we can to enrich the lives of the children who attend our school by bringing children, parents and the huge team of professionals together.
We want to improve the environment with essential equipment and bring the curriculum to the children through sport, activity, cooking, gardening skills and social development. We want to support the staff who provide a 1st class service to our children. We do this by raising funds through a full range of events. We also aim to bring parents together to share information and support each other as nobody knows the child better than their parents.
We wish to spread awareness.
Targets
Our ambition this year is to develop our outside learning environment.
Our children need a structured environment that is safe and so our School Council has been working with staff and have decided that a Multi-Purpose Sports Track would be a great investment for the children to use all year around. Our children will be able to contribute in their own way to the Olympic Challenge in a sports based way, leading up to 2012.
