The Russett Learning Trust and Governors wish to appoint enthusiastic suitably qualified Grade 4 Teaching Assistants who are caring, flexible and well organised to work with children and young people.
The Russett School is an all aged (2 – 19) special academy providing outstanding education for pupils and young people with, Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language Difficulties and Complex Needs.
This is an outstanding opportunity for Teaching Assistants who are suitably qualified and experienced with passion and drive to make a difference for pupils and young people with SEN. The Trust is committed to supporting and developing staff through ongoing career development.
Please note that are various opportunities available at academy for Teaching Assistants working term time only on 30 hour, 24 hour 18 hour and 12 hours temporary contracts.

The Board of The Russett Learning Trust are seeking to recruit Co-Opted School Governors to enrich the existing skills mix of The Russett School Governing Committee.
We are specifically seeking people who have a background or skills and experience in at least one of the following areas;
• Human Resources
• Working or volunteering with young people
• Connections with local schools in the area
This is an exciting opportunity to further support your local community.
The purpose of the post is to contribute to the role of the governing committee in achieving its three core functions;
• Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction within the context of the Russett Learning Trust;
• Holding the Head Teacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils; and
• Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent
